ColorCable powerstrips – Sustainable cables<\/h1>\n

We work with the UN’s SDG goals by establishing an SDG requirement for our partners. Since we outsource our production and logistics, our access is indirect, but we can still achieve our goals. Perhaps with even greater impact, as we also influence our partners’ networks and set an example of value creation through design and branding to achieve a higher quality and sustainable production. With a user-friendly design, we have approached manufacturers in Europe and China with demands for sustainable production using recycled materials. We did not seek out manufacturers who are already doing this but those who are interested in developing sustainable production. We approached them with a 30-60-90 strategy: 30% recycled material for the first production, 60% for the second, followed by a third horizon goal of 90%, which is not yet possible, but we are participating in changing that. We use a benchmark case from our design studio ARDE, which developed the Nova Sea chair with 96% ocean plastic. ColorCable powerstrips – Sustainable cables<\/h3>\n

Our logistics subcontractors are currently competing for sustainable logistics services. Emission-free deliveries in cities represent a rapidly developing market trend, and our procurement decisions can contribute to its growth. Additionally, we are actively working to promote the most environmentally friendly solution for transporting our products from the factory in China to our warehouse in Br\u00f8ndby. Although this transition is progressing more slowly, it is still an area where our demand can drive change: no flights or trains, only shipping. ColorCable powerstrips – Sustainable cables<\/p>\n

ColorCable collaborates with ‘Offset My Life,’ a Danish organization where everyone can offset their CO2 footprint. Through ‘Offset My Life,’ we can choose between planting trees or offsetting our footprint by supporting verified renewable energy projects. Expecting a CO2 footprint of 50 tons in 2023, which will be fully compensated, we split our investment between the two alternative methods after planting a tree for each product.<\/p>\n
